Shropshire to host Dachshund Extravaganza

Shropshire is gearing up to host its first ever Dachshund Extravaganza.

Dachshund lovers are invited to enjoy a day of all things dachshund, sausage and wiener related on Sunday 23rd September.

Based at The Shropshire Golf Centre, visitors can sign up for a variety of different competitions, browse the stalls selling items specialised for short legged companions and even be in with the chance of winning a beautiful rosette.

Also at the event will be St Georges Vets who will be on hand to answer questions and perform mini health checks

Some of the exciting events include: a training session by Claire's Clever Canines, Fancy Dress, Dachshund-Dash race, Best Puppy and Best in Show.
