The event is part of this year's Business Programme.

The City of Wolverhampton will stage its second Housing Fair of the year on Sunday 23rd September to help visitors get advice and find their new home.

Wolverhampton Art Gallery will welcome house builders, private landlords, mortgage advisers, solicitors, and registered housing providers.

Also at the event to give advice and support will be the City of Wolverhampton Council's Rent with Confidence, Affordable Warmth, Housing Improvement and Planning teams.

The event is being sponsored by WV Living, allowing visitors to take advantage of WV Living's 'early bird' offer on its upcoming developments at Sweet Briary in Ettingshall and Peascroft in Bilston.

Councillor Peter Bilson, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for City Assets and Housing, said: "If you are looking to find the right home in the City of Wolverhampton, then come along to this free event and speak directly to the people who can help you.

"As well as free advice for new home buyers, there is also a host of information and support for people looking to improve their current homes.

"Our previous housing fairs have proved popular and it is a great one stop shop for people seeking guidance on housing matters."

The Housing Fair is just one of a range of free events during the Business Programme, which will take place between 23 September and 3 October 2018.
